Troop 180
About
Troop 180 was chartered in 1943. The Troop meets on Tuesday nights at the First Congregational Church in Holden, MA from 6:45 pm to 8:30pm. The Troop is very proud of its tradition of helping boys attain the rank of Eagle Scout: the highest attainable rank in Scouting, a great honor and something to be very proud of. As of 2010, our troop has graduated 85 Eagle Scouts. We are very fortunate to have a fair number of active and dedicated former scoutmasters, scouts, parents and alumni who continue to serve and take part in our troop.
Our Troop enjoys physical outdoor activities, emphasizing hiking, camping, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, biking, snowshoeing and much more... Troop 180 is part of the Mohegan council in the Quinsigamond District, serving the Central Massachusetts communities of Auburn, Boylston, Holden, Leicester, Oakham, Paxton, Rutland, Shrewsbury, West Boylston, and Worcester.
